Thank you for keeping us in mind and taking the time to share this info.<\/p>\n<p>The Backyard Naturalist seeks to fill a<strong> Part-time to potential Full-time Retail Sales Associate Position<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are looking for an EXPERIENCED, MATURE, well organized retail sales associate, with excellent communication\/people skills, and an ability to multi-task. <strong>Long-term commitment only.<\/strong> (This is <em>not<\/em> a seasonal position.) Reliable, hardworking, and flexible are the key qualities for this position. This could become a Manager position for the right person.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>25-30 hours per week, with growth potential<\/li>\n<li>Cash register\/charge sales (experience preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Weekend availability<\/li>\n<li>Some scheduling flexibility<\/li>\n<li>Team player; sense of humor a plus!<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to learn merchandising, buying, and marketing<\/li>\n<li>Educate customers about our products<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining of store cleanliness, inventory and displays<\/li>\n<li>Able to lift and carry 40 lbs bags of seed<\/li>\n<li>Please be Covid vaccinated<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must have prior work experience with references!<\/li>\n<li>Retail\/sales experience preferred<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Computer skills are a plus<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of wildlife helpful, but will train the right person<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To apply, please visit the shop Tuesday\u00a0through Saturday 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. to fill out an application.
