They’re so close now! Monitor the progress of Ruby-throated Hummingbirds on Hummingbird Central’s Hummingbird Migration 2026 Map.
Have your Hummingbird feeders ready with fresh nectar when they get here!
The Hummzinger Highview Hummingbird nectar feeder is one of our all-time favorites! But there are so many more we like, too. See more nectar feeders we recommend here.
Be ready for migrating Hummingbirds arrival
Greet these amazing birds after their exhausting journey, with Hummingbird feeders filled and waiting. Need help? Stop by the store for feeders and our best (always free!) advice.
Even though many of us won’t have regular visitors until flowers bloom in May, these first migrants coming through really need to bulk up after their long migration. Not many flowers yet, so we need to help!

Take your backyard Hummingbird Habitat to the next level!

Along with nectar feeders, there are other (simple!) incentives for Hummingbirds. Here are some ways to make your backyard even more enticing for Hummingbirds:
- Provide nesting material, like Hummingbird Nesting Helper to help a Mama Hummingbird line her nest more easily.
- Plant flowers that Hummingbirds love! We have non-GMO seeds for flowers that attract Hummingbirds, Bees, Butterflies and Songbirds.
- Add a mister to your bird bath. This is one of the best ways to see Hummingbirds up close.
- If you’d like to see Hummingbirds up really, really close, try a handheld Hummingbird feeder. (Image on the left.)
- The Hummingbird Swing – Gives Hummers a place to perch while waiting their turn at your feeder.
- Keep feeders clean and filled with fresh nectar. We have more advice about this on our Hummingbird Resource page.
