How They Work |

Weight-sensitive perches are calibrated to collapse under approximately 2 oz. of weight. Curved perch design encourages cardinals and small songbirds to eat, but prevents squirrels from feeding. |
Weight-sensitive perches encourage smaller songbirds to eat while preventing larger birds (and squirrels) from feeding. Perches are calibrated to collapse under approximately 2 oz. of weight |
Motor-driven, weight-activated squirrel-proof feeder. It allows birds to eat and saves seed by keeping squirrels away. Motor-driven, weight-activated perch ring allows songbirds to eat, but gently spins squirrels off the perch. NiCad battery and AC/DC charger included. |
Weight-sensitive tray attracts ground-feeding birds, but tips under the weight of a grey squirrel.Tray can hold the weight of up to four cardinals (about 8 oz.). Tray collects fallen seed and serves as a platform that allows multiple birds to feed simultaneously from the four ports. |

Resisting Large Birds |
|||
Note about the Whipper and Dipper: Hungry birds will adapt as best they can to the conditions in order to survive and larger birds will sometimes hang onto the collapsed perch and continue to feed. It’s uncomfortable and difficult so it discourages but may not be the ultimate preventative. |
