Disaster Relief Continues, Please Donate Today

We continue to count our blessings that we escaped the devastation wreaked on our northern neighbors by Super Storm Sandy. Since the storm, The Backyard Naturalist is getting a lot of questions about how extreme weather affects wild birds’ welfare. We’ll be posting information on that topic later, but in the meantime, here’s something you can do to help:

We can help our neighbors –and the creatures who depend on them– recover from this disaster by donating to ongoing relief efforts by the American Red Cross and The Humane Society.

Your contribution, no matter what size, will make a difference!!! Please visit the American Red Cross or The Humane Society of the United States today.
